Designed for planters and multipliers of churches, groups, and ministries, an M.A. degree in Missional Church Movements will grow you in the theological, biblical, and missional knowledge and skills you need to lead in the gospel-transformation of your church, your community, and workplace.

Program Overview

You will engage in the issues and effective practices of missional living through evangelism, cultural engagement, and the mission of the Church. Since our program can be completed without the need to put your career or ministry on hold, you’ll also be able to apply what you’re learning right away and enjoy the satisfaction of seeing communities influenced and lives transformed.

What Does Missional Mean? 

When we use the term missional, we are communicating three main ideas:

• The attraction of the unchurched into reproducing churches and the planting of new churches
• The incarnational engagement of Christians as missionaries in their communities and neighborhoods
• The sending out of small communities and groups to exert Christian influence in every sector and location in society

As you earn your degree over four summers, you will be able to directly apply these ideas to your current ministry context.
